Autumn is a Second Spring, Where Every Leaf is a Flower

"Come , little leaves" Said the Wind one day, "Come to the Meadows with me and play. Put on your dresses of read and gold; for summer is past, and the days grow cold." - George Cooper

Fall has come to The Glen..and boy am I excited! Its a time to put away swimsuits and sunblock and pull out the sweaters and scarves. Time to jump into piles of leaves and wander through the corn mazes. Even now, the nights here are growing cooler, and last night we had an eclipse. A Blood Moon it was called. Where the earth was between the sun and the moon, so the moon turned red. A lovely, Autumn red.

Perhaps that is why our expected little one decided today was the day he should come into the world. His mother lives here in The Glen and she went into labor yesterday afternoon...but he has yet to come out and see the world. Hopefully today The Glen will have a brand new baby around!

However, while the father paces and the mother does what mothers do.. the rest of us in The Glen must stay busy while we wait. So I have decided it is time for the fall decorations. Pumpkins, squash, corn, wheat, and leaves all displayed in beautiful arrangements.

Pumpkins, Wheat, and Squash! Oh My!
