My Life In The Glen

“Most of us have two lives. The life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands Resistance.” ― Steven Pressfield

Do you ever feel like you are living two lives?
A life at home..and a life at school?
A life at work, and a different life with your friends?

It sometimes feels like I am living two lives... My life at home, where my friends and family accept me just as I am, love me unconditionally, and where if we go out to eat at Chili's, its a big deal.

And my life here in The Glen. Where the rich and fabulous change wardrobes at least three times a day,  would never be seen without their hair and makeup done, and spend more on flowers for the house than I make in a month.

I was lucky though. The couple I work for (Who will remain unnamed for the sake of their privacy) are very nice. Not at all like I expected. To be honest..(and to my shame) I expected them to be a bit snooty. However, despite their obvious wealth, they are some of the kindest people you could ever meet.

Their life though...boy is is different from what I am use to. It was a bit of a culture shock when I first started my job at Hunters Glen. Getting use to all the refined ways of life..it took a little time. I love my life here in Hunter's Glen. I have seen and heard so many beautiful things in the past month that I have worked here. I figured the best way to process and share this side of my life, was by writing (typing) it all down.

So if you are a follower of this blog, I thank you. Hopefully you will find some entertainment in my crazy ramblings. Until next time...I will leave you with one of my favorite views in The Glen.

The orchids are so beautiful in the morning light.
